What took me a while to understand is that Covestro is an upstream supplier. It sells to formulators and compounders, not usually to end users. So a product may say “made with Covestro materials” without being a Covestro-made product. That distinction matters when you compare quotes. Does the Covestro Logo Mean You Can Trust the Material?
The Covestro logo is recognizable, but I am not going to pretend to decode the design. From a buyer’s perspective, the logo mainly helps with traceability. Are Resins Polymers?

A resin can be a finished thermoplastic polymer, such as polycarbonate pellets. It can also be a reactive liquid system, such as uncured epoxy, that becomes a crosslinked thermoset polymer after hardener is added. For purchasing, this changes shelf life, storage, handling, and safety requirements.
Early on, I almost ordered cured epoxy sheets when an engineer asked for epoxy resin. I thought a resin was already a solid plastic. The engineer stopped the PO before it went out.
